About our journey with operational dark data
As a specialised AIOps consultancy, DeployPartners has always been helping its clients drive operational excellence. Recently everybody has been using the term operational dark data. Which, when you think about it, sounds like a marketing term. To us, dark data means capturing and organising data that exists but has been ignored or undervalued.
Until a client deploys and AIOps system, alarms, logs, topology, performance and configuration were dark data. Capturing and gaining insights from this dark data is what we have been doing for over fifteen years. Now we have a name for what we do: Bringing light to the underlying services and systems to deliver operational improvements to our clients’ businesses.
